She was born Tuesday's
Child - Full of Grace
Her name - Annie means
Blessed With Grace
She sat with us awhile
As we shared time’s race
Twice blessed we are
To have seen her face
And to have shared memories
When she left this place

Thank you, John...
It's an ironic coincidence that as I was helping to write the obituary for Annie's funeral, I happened to look up the meaning of her name, "Grace" as well as the day she was born, Tuesday. You know that old saying, "Tuesday's child is full of Grace" well, this poem kind of developed from that...
Thanks again, I am grateful for your kind words. Peace always, xx Cyn

Twice, twice blessed. She was blessed and so were you - Cyn, this is absolutely beautiful. Is it your mum?

Thank you, I appreciate your kind comments...
She was my friend and rommate's mother, and a lady I knew well. Not only did she touch my heart, but because my own mother passed away in 2003, Annie and I became pretty close, she was like my surrogate mom. Thanks again, your thoughtful words really mean a lot.
Peace & hugs, xx Cyn

Thank you...
To have you stop in to read my work is an honor. Annie was my roommate and good friend's mother; a 98-y.o. lady that I became friends with, and had known for years. She worked her lifetime as a nurse and was a single mother, as well as a really unique person to know. She could tell some stories about the 40s and 50s!! Thanks again, you made my day!!
Peace, xx Cyn
