Maybe if I had realized earlier
I could've saved her.
Maybe I could've spared her
Even more pain.
But it's too late
And nothing will bring her back.
How could we have
Never seen all the scars.
Lining her arms
And her heart.
I wish that I could turn the tables of time
So that she'd come back.
I'm the last one
To hear her words.
"Sometimes I wish
I were never born."
They've taken her heart and shredded it to pieces
But her spirit remains unbroken.
To be turned on
By your own kin.
Is enough to break someone's
Lifeline.
Was she just a little girl
Whom the world
Forgot.

Was she just a little girl
Whom the world
Forgot.
I found those last lines very powerful, good luck.
