The shadows are coming,
Coming for me.
Why can't you help me,
Why can't you see?
You've taken my soul,
And now I know.
I long for your happiness,
But you give me sorrow.
I long for love,
Attention and care.
But no-one's around,
No-one is there.
Constantly pulling,
I'm never alone.
I need to be safe,
I need to be home.
Where I'm happy most,
Where I belong.
I can be myself,
Confident and strong.
With people who care,
and help me achieve.
Always around,
And in me they believe.
But where are they now,
No voices are spoken.
And then I remember,
That mine is now broken.
