It's a different version of the same old song
A saga about how me and my old lady just couldn't get along
Please wont you write me a new story line
Somethin' about me the old lady gettin' along just fine
I don't want no more D.I.V.O.R.C.E.
Or no judge tellin' me how it's goin' be
Perhaps a brand new trailer in an up scale park
With a dog so happy he don't ever bark
It's a different version of the same old song
A saga about how he and the old lady just couldn't get along
Please wont you write me a new story line
Somethin' about me the old lady gettin' along just fine
I want a lot more L.O.V.I.N.G
And how me and the old lady will live happily
A lot more sugar and a lot less fight
And confirmation on how whiskey makes everything right
REPEAT (ALL 4 VERSES 8 TIMES)

I like this. I have music playing in my head for this.

The verses are good but isn't eight a bit much? How 'bout picking out one verse and repeating that every now and then as the chorus? Thank you for entering the contest.

Yep, this little song certainly had something to say. There are a lot of songs about those who don't get along, but when you do comne across one where they do, it is a rare thing and one which is remembered so. I loved this, kinda makes one hum a tune to the words. I wish you the best in the contest and thanks for the read.
