Who gives a damn if
somewhere along the line
there was a monkey or two
on my family tree.
I still come from God as do all
creatures great and small.
Well; at least I believe I do.
And even if it ends up
there really isn’t a God,
and I aint saying there’s not!
A baboon with a big penis
would not be such a bad relative
to have helped in the making of me.
If that’s what it took way back when
to get the me here now.
