We'll miss our casablanca flower
who would bloom and brighten our day
this is not the time to be sour
but to celebrate her, in our own special way
we'll all miss her baking recipes
her deliciously thick cookies galore
as well as the heavenly cakes and especially-
her sweetness, that will always be adored
as she journeys on to above
I want to thank all and there are many
with the showing of outpouring of love
the QUALITY was more than plenty
to her lovely co-workers and beautiful friends
and caring family members alike
this is definitely not the end
but only a transition of her wonderful life
we'll miss our casablanca flower
and no matter what it takes
when and if we ever feel dour
remember her laugh, smile, cookies and cakes!

This was both beautiful and delicious at the same time!
When you started talking about "her deliciously thick cookies galore" I almost ran into the kitchen and shoved a few pillsbury cookies in the oven. Hahahaha...this was really really good and very touching.
I'm sorry about your loss, but if your aunt were here to read this I'm sure she'd love it! Great job!

Trust me when I say this....for her cookies, you could not eat them fast!!!! One bite would literally send you off to heaven!!! also, one of her cookies would fill you up! She guarded her secret well too! Only my mother and another has the knowledge of her secret ingredient!

Quality written in capital letters would usually be some thing I would prefer not to see,but with in this piece it works effortlessly and high lights the reason for the word being chosen and placed where it is.Remember her laugh,smile,cookies and cakes,humorous ending to a delightful,poignant poetic reading experience. -

Quality of friends, these people paid her bills, came over and cleaned her house, took her to all of her doctor's appointments and spent a lot of time with her. She was fighting breast cancer and these foster parents, co-workers and longtime friends (who flew into town) bent-over-backwards for her! In our lifetime, we might have 1 or 2 quality friends if we are lucky, she had plenty! Thank the Lord for that!

My aunt had 2 memorials. This was written after the first one but the second one had this poem included in it. So that all that attended would have a good reminder, if they did not already had one, of her.

I have a tweety bird locked in a cage hanging from my ceiling with a button of her picture on it, pinned to the cage. I look at it every once in a while, smile and say hello to her! Tweety bird was her favorite cartoon character!
