Of softest kisses in the night,
she wakes me to a dream
Lifting now my sorrowed heart,
I’m driven to extremes
Touched by divine tenderness,
unselfish in her care
Basking in the flames of love,
erasing my despair
Her eyes do gently lift my soul,
words of poetic truth
Softness filled with southern drawl,
the innocence of youth
Safely in the warm embrace,
of kindness’s gentle play
I find myself in raptures bliss,
of passion’s sweet bouquet
Forever to enjoy the share,
of two that breahte as one
And spend our days in merriment,
love brighter than the sun

I LOVE cheese! But more importantly I love this poem! It's soft and loving and filled with all the things that a woman wants to hear! You have a wonderful talent for reaching the heart of a female. Really very good, quick is the flow, excellent the rhyme, easy to read without complications. Enjoyed.

The language is beautiful, the stanza structure makes it seem flowing and stable, adding to the meaning. My only suggestion is that the last line, that "hotter" should be changed to something that provokes more imagery. Good poem though
