Forever In Love With You

I sit here waiting for you near the window,

as the sun beats down upon my naked body.

Loneliness blankets my heart leaving me lost,

in a world of endless questions and doubts.

I wonder if I'll ever see you again,

feel the beating of your heart upon my own.

I fall forever into a sky of broken dreams,

saddened memories, and tear-filled clouds.

My heart feels like it's going to cave in,

as I try so hard to get you out of my mind.

I run my digits all over my body,

as tears fall continuously from my eyes.

I see your silhouette standing in the doorway,

as my heart is overcomed with utter joy.

I run to you and extend my arms,

only to find nothing but cold air all around me.

I feel my knees start to buckle uncontrollably,

and fall to the ground screaming your name.

I wonder where you are tonight,

and whether or not you still love me.

I grow impatient as I continue to fall to pieces,

wishing so much that you were here with me.

I try my best to collect myself and stand up.

As I do, I hear your key unlocking the door.

My heart leaps as I run to find you,

with a beautiful bouquet of roses and champagne.

You see the tears as they flow from my eyes,

and slowly kiss each one as they fall.

You push my hair away from my face,

then pick me up and lead me upstairs.

I smile and sigh as you whisper softly in my ear,

"I have always loved you and I always will!"
