1. what is your dream?
I want to be someone unforgettable. Sometimes I think I might be able to forget myself when I'm feeling quiet or unremarkable.
2. where is your favorite place to go and why?
A section of prairie near my house that the city started to develop but then stopped. It has little colapsable street signs and fire hydrants, but is still untamed, kind of.
3. what is your earliest memory?
Hehe.. I just wrote about this =)
I was about three and staying in my family's beach house in Oregon. I got caught in a riptide and was pulled out of the water by my mom.
Later, I was angry because my uncle had made fun of me just before.
4. what is your least favorite word?
Phat.
And the word intercourse also really aggravates me.
5. why are you here?
Because I decided last summer that if I truly wanted to be an English major, I'd better whip my butt into shape. So I googled 'poetry forums'.
I don't want to be an English major anymore, but I decided to stick around anyways.
6. what’s your biggest pet peeve and how/why did it start being a pet peeve for you?
Any kind of fuddy-muddling in my business/life.
I feel like I'm kind of naturally the type of person who doesn't enjoy sharing information and asking for advice. So when advice is forced on me, it more or less makes me bezerk.
7. what is your favorite thing to wear?
i bought this gorgeous semi-dress with phesant sleeves and a scoop neckline with a couple of friends a while ago. it's the color of eggplants and i've worn it enough that it's gotten little pin-holes and fuzzies all over it...
8. what happened?
I decided to suck it up and go with the flow.
9. if your life were a food or beverage, what would it be? What would it taste like and why? Would it be properly prepared, undercooked, over-spiced, burned, ...?
It would probably be something deceptively ordinary, like bacon flavored chocolate.
Which is delicious, by the way.

Truth.
11. what's the cute thing nearest to you right now?
A jacket that a friend left in my mailbox last summer as a goodbye present.
12. you intend to write a poem. What’s the first thing you do?
If I'm doing my rough draft on allpoetry, which has become a habit lately, I'll type out phrases or images that i want to include. If I'm writing in a notebook, the process usually starts with me turning on my bedside lamp because I can't sleep.
13. if you were a unit of measure, which would you be and why?
I would be a Kelvin. Because of absolute zero, which I find facinating.
14. what’s your latest deep realization?
no matter how miserable or stressed i am, eventually it won't matter anymore. Not because i'm suicidal or anything, but because i realized that time passes no matter what.
15. what keeps your life together?
My friends. Actually, they usually help me keep it less together. Which is a good thing.
16. what’s the funniest situation you’ve ever been in?
Most of my funniest situations consist of minimal sleep and slurred speech.
17. scariest??
I went on a stargazing trip last summer that was cut short by a mountain lion. It didn't come near us, but we could hear it howling, and saw its eyes in the valley when we shined a flashlight down there. I seriously almost peed my pants.
18. what’s the most disturbing movie you never want to see (again)?
Labrynth. David Bowie in tight leather pants trying to seduce a fourteen year old... nghhh.
19. what’s your theme song? Detail.
Today, it's Bruises by Chairlift. Because I've been in a bit of a dreamy mood lately, and I decided that it's probably the best love song in the whole entire world.
20. and lastly, the thing everyone’s talking about... why did the chicken cross the street???
Because he was late and couldn't wait for the light to change.
