Here We are, you and me, laughing like we do
I dont think I'll ever find a friend greater than you
You make me laugh, you make me smile
I love to hang around you for awhile
Without you, I don't kno where I'd be
Ever since i met you, you just completed me
We say we're best friends till the day we die
Hearing forever makes me cry
I've heard it before, it's not the first
All those friendships ended up, for the worst
For all of them started like ours did
But that was the past, when i was just a kid
Hopefully, this one will not be the same
Who will know who to blame??
Let's try real hard to make this friendship last
Let's try to make it the opposite of the past
The past was long ago, its through with, and done
But with this one, we are going to face it, not run
I just want you to know that you're my best friend
And you will be forever & till the end...

Wow. This is a beautiful and amazing poem. I am fortunate enough to have a couple of friendships just like this right now. I hope you have some that actually do last forever like you said you hope they will. Great job!!!

The rhyme in this is well done, poetically I think this would benefit from some spacing between each couplet just to help with the flow
