Beyond the fence
Caged behind bars
Waits something dark
Heaving each breathe
Into rusting lungs.
Tempted by this attraction
Crowds gather to witness
The revelation
Of this new show
In the Zoo.
High pitched buzzing
Of paranomal activity
As we lean forwards in eagerness
About to fall
We secure our hands on the steal.
Bad move,
They come rushing,
Swarming like
Sharks to blood,
But to our hands.
Captivated by fear for moments
On end
We gawp at the site
And fall to the floor
Rolling with laughter.
It's Dipers that fly!
Wings sprouted
Face scribbled in pen
As they whiz round the cage
Into the bars...
