The Garden

A wife lost in the myriad of Pyramids scattered in her garden, waits for her husband to come home from his latest journey. He had travelled to the Black Forest, looking for the fruits of the nymphs to bring back to their garden.

He travelled all around, bringing relics and treasures for his wife's garden. She wanted a spectacular garden so when she died she would be buried there and become a unique treasure among treasures.

She had everything in that garden: Taj Mahals, Domes of the Rock, Roman trees, Mesapotomian stream, Generals Rock...Her most prized possesion were the Pyramids her husband had brought her from the sultry desert. She was intrigued by the Pharaohs who would build monuments for their life and death as soon as they assumed the throne.

However, she was now beginning to feel some guilt. Why should she be the only one to enjoy these treasures? Is she being selfish? Is she not worthy? And is it too good to be true?

With red tears on her cheeks she turns to her beloved pyramids for answers. She consults the hyroglyphs:

                                                  "River"
                                                  "Sleep"
                                                  "Famine"
                                                  "Plague"
                                                  "New
                                                  Dynasty."

She began to understand how most idlers, most passers by are run over. They leave themselves to themselves, make their fields their dreams and exhale air borrowed from nearby rivers. They are what they've been and what they always will be.

But she knew, deep down, she was different. She had taught herself poetry in the most intimate moment, she transcended herself to become another being of pure love while never leaving herself, she lives throught the instant and weeps golden tears for its passing.

Thus, she has earned the love of her husband who wants to give her everything. He wants to be with her through her hapiness, wants her smile to shine across his hearts palm leaf.

And he, who is he to earn her love? He will never know; history will make it one of the stars mysteries that will shine whenever Fate is made reality in the silent inlet.

Now, the wife waits for her husband's return with glee. His arrival will be like the sun dawning across the sea and she will embrace him with arms of perpetual morning.
