The voice of you just falls upon,
my ear so soft and gentle,
it carries me away in dreams,
so sweet and sentimental.
To hear you speak in words of love,
it pleasures every minute,
I know each word you speak to me,
Is said with love built in it.
So clear the tone within your heart,
as emotions carry through,
encompassed by desires within,
to always be with you.
But as each day grows longer,
In the time that we’re apart,
I know right in my very soul,
Our hearts will not depart.
From the minute I awaken,
till the final sigh grows weak,
we know that every single beat,
will echo through our sleep.
To hold onto our passion,
and make our dreams come true,
in every little word you say,
is why I just love you.

This is a wonderful piece of work. The word choices are stunning and the phrases beautiful! I love how this piece flowed and the love that was woven through it. I especially liked stanza 5 as it reminds me that no matter how near or far you are your heart is still going to beat in time and love the other person, even in sleep. Excellent write.
