Grow Up, Internet, We Need You Now

Until they became the tyrants
and took complete control...

the Left, hand-in-hand with pop culture,
stirred the hopes and dreams of those
who valued individual rights
and stood together in the fights
to overthrow their overlords...

Spurred by such peaceful influence and ideologies
the masses took the streets
to protest what appears to be
a clear case of corruption by tyrants,
or so it appeared-
for who can believe the media
after the brazen and successful brainwashing campaign
during OUR last election?

Sadly, Michael Jackson died,
and we will never know-
the tyrant state was given a reprieve
when Master Jackson's story was deemed superior
for network sponsorships...

Soon, but not soon enough
such an industry's complete control
over our pinhole view of the universe
will wane...

Grow up, Internet, we need you now...

a bynote-
and anyone who tries to shut down
text messaging and the Internet
to maintain power and control
should be thrown into the Euphrates...

and the penultimate question
among all these distractions,
Will Obama bow down to him again
and apologize for Ameriʞa's actions?

Author notes

Euphrates- river that runs near Baghdad, in Iraq

'They'- the political Left and pop culture

'OUR'- the United States

'Him'- Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the overlord representative of the 'Wayward Male Hormone' religio-political party which maintained its iron grip by stealing Iran's election... or so our now-untrustworthy media, commentators, and pollsters claims...

  • Impassioned and insightful

Impassioned. It's good to hear passion for world events in today's world. You have uniquely used the word "Euphrates". There's one you don't hear everyday. It ran through the Garden of Eden, it is said (well, in the Christian Bible at least). Nice to add the author's note. The tying in with the media's use of internet was an insightful touch. The title is a much-needed and moving rally cry.
