like naked skin
Four seasons
with an end.
Your memory echoes from within,
and I'm sent away to mend.
Your voice and touch
are safely kept,
Where I haven't got a key.
Deep inside the hollow rhyme,
within my silent plea.
All my armor
had fallen down,
To a pile beneath my feet...
Never again will your fingers find
the fire within my heat.
My thoughts of you
Float gently across the surface of my mind
Where touch and tongue
Tie heart and hands
With truth and lies that bind.
The seasons always repeat,
but chapters can't rewind.
There's nothing holding on now,
No more weight of me...
--Declined.

I titled it Chapter 108 because it's in reference to a chapter of my life that is ending/has ended and the number 108 has a lot of significance.

The total of all three digits of 108 (1+0+8) is 9.
12 x 9= 108 If you divide 108 by 2 or multiply by 2 the total equals 9. 9 is three 3s...3+3+3=9. 3 being the perfect number of balance. 108 is an integer divisible by the sum of it's digits.
