FLY IF YOU CAN (COLOBORATION POEM)
Fly said the Eagle, fly if you can
Then pushed him right out of the nest
And he flapped and he flapped
As his little heart raced
He was out on his first major quest
He cried as he fell with the ground coming up
And he spread out his talons to slow
He flapped those wings hard
As he plummeted down
To the rising ground waiting below
Then much to his amazement
He felt the cool cool wind
Beneath his wings so free
He ascended high into the clouds
As he listened to his heart merrily
What a wonderful trip he enjoyed
While flying through the air
He even did a stylish turn
Flapping his wings so rhythmicly
As he dipped his wings with flair
The last two stanzas are mine.

I thought this was very good indeed and certainly followed the story quite well. Rhythm was good as was the flow. Thank you for entering the contest and the very very best.
