She sits alone in a room.
Looking out her window.
No one seems to care that
she's alone and scared.
Little does she know. There's
a boy right next door feeling
the same way. They both feel like
there's nothing to live for.
Both of them grab their razors
and slice their wrists. Tears slide
down their faces. Both running out
side. She's not paying attention to
anyone around here.
He stand there with a
gun to his head. She stands
under the tree with a rope hanging
from a branch. He puts the gun to
his head. She puts her head through
the loop.
Both look at each other.
He drops the gun and runs
towards her. Just as she lets
her body fall and hang. He climbs
up the tree and cuts the rope and her
body falls to the floor.
He whispers into her ear
“I'm here. You're not alone”
Years of abuse. Emotional
psychical and sexual abuse.
They both had enough of it.
Cutting day and night.
She cries as she looks up at
him. She cries hard as he holds
her close. Humming a song she
knows so well. One part he'll forever
whisper into her ear: “You're not alone
there is more to this I know
You can make it out
You will live to tell"
No one thought they'd get
so far. No one thought they'd
try to end their lives. That's
what made these two feel like
they were alone. Their not alone.
Now they ask this one question:
Is there more to this story?
