Bigger than the biggest moon
She made a wish to go and play
In a land that weren’t so grey
A gust of wind then swept on by
And pulled the balloon toward the sky
Sammy held the string so tight
And rode the wind like a big blue kite
Pink balloon in the sky
Floating up, way up high
Bouncing in the fluffy clouds
Watched beneath by busy crowds
Sammy smiles and waves a hand
And hopes that they will find the land
A place where everything is pink
A place where all the boys don’t stink
Flying higher in the air
Rosy cheeks and whispery hair
The promise land is now in sight
Soon be time to leave this flight
Author notes
This is just a little silly something, a friend of mine was struggling to find his muse, and i said i would write something as i aint for so long to spurt his enthusiasm, well he told me to write something for children aged 2 - 5, i know nothing about kids, so this was a challenge, its not great, but its something new i wrote so thought id post it anyway, good thing is, it did help to spurt him on a bit lol, so one great thing came out of it. x

I really love this! To me it seems really sad, I'm probably crazy but to me it's death and a little girl finally finding peace when she is travelling to heaven-especially the last two lines. I don't know, like I said I'm a bit crazy [=
This is so cute, I absolutely love the rhyming and the rhythm and it flows really well.
Great write you have here!
