Bronze...I Believe

Missing image

many stars grace the heavens

with unwavering attention

                         I watch and see

as they looked fixed in their location

I believe they are

                         gazing back at me

stars are a phenomenon that

        I don't completely understand

I like to believe they are angels

of past loved ones

that God let's hold our hand

could it be at night

                        they light a candle

so we can better see

and when I silently wish

                upon my soulmates star

that he has fixed his gaze on me

I believe...
