a soft creamy orange
cradles my eyes,
warms my skin
a gentle breeze
kisses my cheeks,
tickles my toes
a bird chirping;
singing a gentle melody
just for me
the air is crisp and clean;
the cool of the morning rain
softly lingers in the shadows
soon i'll have to leave
this perfect oasis
