When I think of you
I can hear the words of a Prince song
that goes like this:
"How beautiful are you
there's more than a thousand replies
could it be your lips, or your golden eyes..."
To me, that is you in a song.
My thoughts of you are infinitely long,
and I find myself wondering
if in fact I would be taken aback when I see you
the way I am when I hear that song.
In a way, the lyrics of that song
seem to be my own words....
oh!, how I wish they were
because I know I'd cry, and love you like crazy
once you were at the center of my world.
I just wish you were... Here.
"Another wonder of the world... realized".
