I think I'd be a happier person
no worries, right?
no fears at night

no dreams of light
I'd have it so much easier
if I were a boy...
I bet it'd be so great
staying up late
no tricks of fate
anyone to date
anything to sate
I'd eat anything I wanted
if I were a boy...
I wouldn't have to throw up my food
I wouldn't have to cry myself to sleep at night
I wouldn't have to shave my legs
I wouldn't have to put myself out on the line
but life wouldn't be real to me
nothing could mean anything
if I were a boy...
I think I'd kill myself.
