Let There Be

Let there be:
Birds, flowers;
butterflies,
sunny days,
blue skies.
Let the wind blow,
let the trees stand,
let the children grow,
walk the land.
Let there be:
Raindrops, bumblebees;
mountain tops, great seas,
sandy beaches, rainbow skies;
sun sets, sun rise.
Let there be...

Author notes

simple words
Let there be
void of intrusion, conflict
all of nature is exactly how God intended it to be,
it has purpose, to alter God intentions create imbalance,
to simply be, let all be as it was intended
to observe, to enjoy is all that is needed.

    The many wonders of this world,simply expressed as they should be.If only everyone could share in the actual beauty of each one!
    I closed my eyes after reading this and visualized each "gift" ,actually starting with the 'sunset' as it was going below the hill across the field of sunflowers.
    You have a gift with words that bring forth pictures .This poem certainly did for me .Thanks for sharing...

  • Lovely...

    I would need to have a seraphic language to express and translate the beauty of "Let There Be", but for lack of that sublime power ~ allow me to say: This is a celestial banquet!

    In respect and appreciation,

    a great joy and peacefulness invaded my physical and subtle bodies while reading your wise words ... where others use philosophical and moralizing concepts, you have the great talent and gift to show us integrated wisdom through simple yet powerful words that touch the core of our being ...
    you offer all those who have ears to listen and an open heart to receive truth, the opportunity to remember that life is so much easier when the "controler" is cast aside and Divine laws and will is accepted and welcomed with joy and confidence ...
    sometimes, we need to get exhausted "fighting against" all that is - in order to lose our force and surrender ...

    thank you so much for these truly uplifting and empowering words offered here with so much humility ...

    much love,
    marion
