As the sun shows its face
On the brand new day,
So God shines His light
On the Christian's way.
God's wonderful light
Allows us to see
His gift and His mercies
So many, so free.
We see our path
And this world too;
We see what He's done
And what He'll do.
We know that although
Our problems are large,
We are friends with the One
Who is truly in charge.
So as we continue
To fight the good fight,
Let us praise our God
For sending his Light.
