Lay the bricks of crumbling red,
Bind them firmly with willful mortar, intent,
Fulfill the purpose.
They may strain for freedom,
Protest and crack,
But ultimately their shackles of earth hold them secure.
Secure in the knowledge that they will forever be enveloped,
Encased, in familiarity.
