I have trod barefoot on this earth
from the first moments of my birth.
No leather between me and the soil
even as in the summer garden I do toil
just my skin and this dirt and nothing
to protect me from any of life's hurt.
With only loin cloth I would run
Body free under the summer sun.
I dance around my burning bush and
glory in the truths I have found.
We are all naked from our first moment
and spend our lives wrapped in fear.
Without protection of scale or fur,
we run from our true selves in a blur.

After suggestions:
I have trod barefoot on this good earth,
from the first blessed moments of my birth.
No leather between me and the soil,
as in the summer garden I toil.
With my bare skin and this ancient dirt,
protecting me from life's pain and hurt.
With only a loin cloth I would run,
My body free under summer's sun.
This burning bush that I dance around,
glowing in sacred truths I have found.
We're born naked from first breath so dear,
then we spend our lives wrapped up in fear.
Without protection of scale or fur,
we run from our true selves in a blur. -
Freedom from shoes and freedom from confinement of clothes too, the best way to beat the heat of summer, (searching for my loin cloth now...kidding) seriously, I like your rhyme.
