clouds~
quatrains of a mystic,
scripted on the pristine paper sky.
sun rays~
fingers of a hymn,
telling beads on a rainbow rosary.
sea~
foam of an unrequited love,
dying
in ear rings of salt
on deaf cliffs...

Rain-
just enough to tease the grass."

This is beautiful, the imagery you used to convey hope, truly deserving of the silver I see you have won.

I really am fond of pieces, that albeit brief, paint such a vivid and descriptive picture. Even without the picture accompanying, I could form the picture in my mind clearly, and connect with the emotions intuitively. This is really lovely. I thank you for entering this contest with it.
