Behind the walls that once held life
walls that once held only strife
A window acts as gateway to patient's past
that those today will deny as being vast
I stand by this place in total awe
Pasts held there I attempt to redraw
Within this place existed souls in pain
those held here because of the brain
Roll back tides to reveal a dark truth
of those with tainted youths
Within I find a worn paper left behind
of one who was once confined
A son of three condemned here
made to live a life of fear
"'Why do you say I am defective?
It's simply your perspective'
I have received no response
While they all sit with nonchalance"
What a story to unfold!
Such a story must be told
And so I spread the word of what once was
the son receives justice; with international buzz
