Meditation Of Life

March 1986

Today I was born
I can feel the air upon my
naked body
For so long I wanted out
of the womb
Only if I knew now what
I shall come to know
As a child life was easy
Carefree and serene
Flew through life like it
was
Nothing more then a fairy
tale
Dear diary I hope I will
be ok

1996-1997

Those good old days
have come and gone
My faith and hope have
died
I know I am to young
to be so jaded
But death's can do
that I guess
When the world you
once know was forever
gone
And all that is left is
To try and pick up the
broken pieces
Dear diary how can life
be so cruel?

2001

I thought I had found
someone
To bring me back from the
pain
Teaching me how to love
Boy I was such a fool
He taught me love
Filled me with dreams
He was my first in many
ways
Then when it seemed like
life was heaven
He left me behind and
found someone new
And once again I was lost
ready to be found
Dear diary I really thought
he was the one
Sadly I was mistaken

2009
Soon it shall be august
I cant believe it now
Finally found someone
That loves me for me
And who has helped me
grow into the woman
I am today
Four years it shall be
Many more to come
Help me heal all the scars
that were on my heart
I now know I had to
go through all of it
To get to where I am today
Thankful for all the blessing I have
And dont look back on
anything with regret anymore
Dear diary I have come to
realize
Life has many broken roads
But eventually you find the
right one
Leading to happiness
