Every time I see the photo in my book
The one of us, smiling happily together
I see the look in your blue hazel eyes
and I try to think about what went
went wrong to make you leave me
I'm pretty sure you have a girlfriend
and she's not me so I'm always sad
I miss the way you kissed and hugged
but most of all I miss the way I loved
the way I loved you was everything
everything that you just didn't deserve.
I try and keep busy so I don't breakdown
breakdown and cry for someone who's
just not worth anymore of my time,
I still love you, but that love hurts
and I had a dream we were flying on
clouds above the flowery fields, earth
It was just a dream, because I fell;
Then and there I fell all the way to hell
this is my version of hell, but I escape
when the church rings morning bells, but
I like to be gone most of the time so you
can't reach me and I don't have to hide
I just run towards the tire swing, because
I look for people who are feeling the same
Hoping they have an answer to heal pain
so we sit out on a wooden front porch, but
then we decide to race towards a tire swing
He swung me back and forth on the tire;
All I thought of was the wind in my hair and
the way you actually used to care; Soon I
forgot my name, we will never be the same.
