Behind these brown eyes are
The images of death, betrayal,
And sadness. All at a young age.
Am I ready for any other pain
My life holds? Can I deal with it?
Death....has many forms. Going
To more funerals than than anything.
Being told someone died without
Having a chance to say goodbye.
Memories, to sad to think of.
Betrayal....watching a woman
Cheat on her husband. Getting
Hit for laughing at TV by that
Woman. Knowing she's your mother
But she doesn't care, so why should I.
And sadness....loosing the people
Closest to me. Watching someone
You love in pain knowing there is
Absolutely nothing you can do about it.
So yes, these eyes have seen pain.

Welcome to AllPoetry!
I really like the expressiveness of this poem
it is well done and I think that you really involve the reader
the only thing that I would change is perhaps not capitalising the first letter of every line, when it isn't the start of a new sentence it can disrupt the flow a little, especially when writing in this style - but other than that this was a good read
Welcome to the site, I hope that you enjoy your time here at AllPoetry!
