Tonight a large orange moon
and without you I swear
I saw your name printed in the glow
I am reminded painfully
how the mind can play cruel tricks
when a soul longs so close to death
close to wanting someone more then air.

This is painful and hits too close to home.
This is beautifully written. I love the part of about the name being written in the glow of the orange moon.
Wonderful picture it describes though sorrowful. -
Your words are so powerful, wow!
Amazing
good luck in your contest
