she rises
following the ascent
of venus
to the pinnacle
of the mount.
there, at the apex
of the tower
built of signals
through seven years
of gathering,
she quietly removes
her skin
and steps out
into the moonlight.
as she breathes,
she grows,
molecules of spirit
spreading out
and outwards
into the burgeoning
realm
of the aether.
humming at first,
allowing the song
to take possession,
she raises her
heartfire
like a great column
up and up,
seeking the surface
of
the lover's mirror,
her moon,
so that her intent
may pass
into the slumbering souls
and bloodtides
of all her brethren
race..
awaken, and be
as one.

This speaks to the rebirth of ourselves into the new light . . . when we finally let go of the old self and move on to the next level of being.
Sometimes I imagine myself light or smoke and I go out into the night while I sleep and drift high above the moonlit fields. Between heaven and earth I find my peace. I'm not sure if these are dreams or spiritual journeys but they help me get in touch with my core being and I always awaken feeling revitalized.
You write beautifully. You always show us your heart and your soul with a fearless courage and you impart to us a strength with your words . . . by being fearless you encourage others to be fearless as well.
Excellent.

..all dreams are spiritual journeys..and every journey is a dream..may we all become proficient at lucidity..as it seems you yourself already are.

sometimes i watch the birds turning in great circles above, and i imagine that we are one..feeling the rush of windcurrents through my wings and delighting in the sense of grace which prevents the self from plummeting from such altitudes..sometimes i imagine i am the wind itself..perhaps we met once somewhere there in our imaginations..between heaven and earth.
merci garrison..i think i've missed you.

I'm going to work with the moon tonight

The moon does have such power--- "so that her intent may pass into the slumbering souls..." it does, good foundation for action begining with thought action transpiring into action action eh?

there was a time when we used the moon to send messages across the distances..but we grew weary and forgot and moved on to other means...this poem was conceived through a memory of an event which had occurred and had yet to occur..soonsoon.

You have been finding strength recently in that notion of womanhood, as a way of unity of sisters. Interesting.
You have stripped yourself of whatever was the past and stand anew, fully actualized, or closer to it anyway. And it's as if you want to pass on your understanding to other women, and I am sure men too.
It's a poem filled with you becoming....

wow..i treasure this comment yem..you have strung these words together with great insight..more than you could know..and they have added yet another rung to my ladder.

recently, i have been connecting more with my sistahs, and finding that we are incredibly strong and subtle creatures..a few weeks back, we had a womens drum circle session..20 ladies creating incredible rhythms for three hours in a circle..it was transformative i think, for many of us..yay chick power!
my cap off to you sir..

Release, re-birth...
freeing the soul
as well as the body...
This conjures many
intepretations,
the the mind flying free
to inspire is one that
appears in front of me.

-
oh yes..!..the mindspiritthing which desires to be incorporated into the realm of the dreamtime..and desire is a powerful force when channelled in any direction, i think..

Interesting, profound and beautiful. The imagery is amazing and yet i sense it's metaphorical all together. Just, pefect

-
-
it is a slight metaphor, which did not appear to me until after it was writ.
..the titles always come second.
..but before that..it was something else.
shhh.
