Today I submit...

Today I submit, no more will I fight
Let down my weapons and enter the night.

With heavy cold chains I lock up my pain
But why, oh my eyes, do you cry again?

Now I surrender and prepare to die
For my wretched soul never more will fly.

My fate is sentenced, condemned is my heart
Lord! why should it be so painful to part!
