he bit me
a thin yellow crescent on my inner thigh
punctuated with indentions
where his teeth separated

she bit me
harder
a swollen knot on the back of my knee
leaking clear fluid
(some got in my mouth on accident)
upon closer inspection i
i found the tiny pinholes of pain
the whole thing had bruised already

i love summer
hate the spiders.
