I want to hold you close.
But you're to far away. I
know that you'll be here
by my side soon. I keep the
monkey you sent me close.
Slowly a tear slides down
my cheek. I hold onto the
monkey closer. It's like your
here. But in a stuffed monkey
way.
I can feel the hugs you
give. More tears slide down
my cheeks. One by one. I start
to feel a soft peck on my cheeks.
One tear down the left a peck on the
left.
All I think about now
is. The more tears I cry
the more kisses I feel. I can
tell you this. If tears were kisses
I'd cry all the time.

So far this is good. It can be much better though. I felt like tear(s) and cheek(s) were a bit overused. Try saying the same thing, but in a different way, or with different words. That would improve the write tremendously!
