The End of all Things

Willow tree wand'ring, wade through fast dying river
Lush blooming fields fallen of late
The old oak knows, root destined to wither
Still; somber silence forebode us of fate

Meteors entangle rain grief stricken cry
Whale calls jettison; leagues to an end foretell
Stepping earth's bosom, O mournful sigh!
Final ax fallen, End journey lay to rest; I bid thee farewell!

House of Usher, Gemini alight
Brilliant black, silhouetted falling stars
Fireflies flicker, I follow with sight
Cold mingles with warm, all becomes bright

Volcanic stalagmites, seep from earth's core
Deer driven from wood; Hasten! Obey nature's call
Natural progressor; Sand hourglass cease pour
Chasm to an end; all shall soon fall
