Oh, Moon, you have embraced me
Your Throne in the night sky
Your luminescence causing my being to fly
The cloth of your night sky allowing me to be
The stars dance around you
Making your aura beam so softly
I stare at you, bringing inside me glee
Arousing my inner light and its hue
Your soft beams caress the surface of my skin
Your stillness bringing the shining rhythm of the stars
An endless song, with no restraints or bars
You and I sharing a moment of beauty, both out and in
As morning approaches, you begin to fade
Oh, Moon. Sadness as you loose your light
Must I say good bye? Must I say good night?
Oh, Good Night, Moon. Your light in my heart stayed.

Wonderful write! My only critique is a misspelling. "Sadness as you loose your light." You wrote 'loose' instead of 'lose.' That's all. Very minor. I like the abba rhyme scheme. Good luck!
