Judgement Day

Apocalypse
End of the world
We all go up in flames
Mountains turn to rubble
The living go insane.

Seas swell
The Earth shakes
Humans shiver in fear
Who will escape disgrace?
The Final Hour is here.

The irony
As the Creator destroys
What He once created
Ridding the world of all her sin
A judgement much belated.

To Heaven
To Hell
He sends souls left and right
Some destined to burn
While others live in light.

Armageddon
The Day of Reckoning;
A day we all fear
It's closer than you think
In fact......... It's already here.

Please wake me up post apocalypse, I'd really like to urinate on a great many number of things. But that's how this whole mess started in the first place...
For revison, I'd make god a strong she, and suggest that territorial pissing is the rotten issue at hand, then suggest wiping out all penis bearing beings, except the nice geeky ones....and as they got all 'I am the power,' destroying them too until there was only the lowly and ironic worm...
    No...never mind..

Please don't ask me to explain the previous rambling...I have no idea what I was thinking.

  • wow that is qute an idea that you have hear I think that the main problem with the creation of humans there is only a load that we can cope with and their are too many plates to stack to sort out all at once.

I love the poem and the set out but if I was me I would add more dramtic language may be a simile or a metaphour to add the final effect from you creation. But it is a winner on my behalf.
