Danielle -
Yesterday I turned my back on someone who I promised to love forever, simply because she was too weak.
I do not believe in broken people.
I do not believe in the impossible.
Our backs are braided with sinew and marrow and the golden sparks of rainstorms and were not made to break.
We were crafted from clay and breath and ember and we will not break.
So please;
Green-curry smoke will not fix her.
She will not mend herself by the half-dead starlight of a street corner.
Help will not come from the papercut arms of an unlovely boy.
Broken. is an excuse.
Sincerely -
Laurel
