Choking on the melody,
thats how i sing,
notes barely come out,
but never seem to ring.
The verses always work,
the beat is correct.
But when the melody comes,
my voice is a defect.
Choking out the melody,
isn't very fun.
When people listen to my sound,
they will start to run.
Some days I think
I should never sing.
I'm sure you would agree,
my voice will never make a ding
on that melody.
Author notes
I don't acually sing like that! lol! Much better, (i got a 6 word solo in choir whooO!!!

Hahaha that's amazing and hilarious piece. It's really well written the flow and the rhyme are really brilliantly done.
I really enjoy it and believe that it's a brilliant piece.
"When people listen to my sound,
they will start to run."
Love those two lines very much! -
this was really well written.
the rhyming isn't out of the ordinary and the last stanza had a nice ring to it. choir isn't one of my things, but a six word solo?!
, it must've took some work to get it! i wouldn't even be in it. that's how horrible my voice is.
at least, we have something to laugh at.
Dax
PS-I sound like the fat woman at the end of the opera with the REALLY high-pitched voice, and I don't like it...
I laugh at it all the time.

Aww, glad to read you don't really sing this way!
"But when the melody comes,
my voice is a defect."
That's my favourite part. Don't you just hate it when everything's all great and dandy, and then when you join in it ruins it?
Heheh :} -
wow! really good! i love it! and good luck in the choir
stay strong
and rock on
or sing on what ever you wanna do
