The Middle of Despair

The simple things in life that I desire
Hide in the middle despair
Running with the wind
The destruction of doubt takes its toll
On disappearing clouds
Rainless and cold
Without a drop of moisture
Withering hope fails to bring another chance

The doors close
The paint cracks deep within my soul
Falling
The ideals that made getting up easy
Now take more than desire had intended
The distance of desire grows as it disappears out of sight

As the icy cold melts on
What is left of the change that never came to be
Healing is lost
Time is slow as
The child I once was
Dies in the ocean of desperation
Kicks unnoticed and renounced
Find surrender in the silence of the depth

Indecision
Once more brings nothing to hold onto
Invisible
I must relinquish the grip on what can't be
Disillusions in memory
Brings the bottom near
Not ever to stand or rest
Bring you to the middle of despair

What did you think

This is a really interesting poem you have some wonderful imagery here - although I would suggest that you use some punctuation to let the reader know when to pause and reflect on your words I enjoyed this very much!
