So late
or early
who knows?
I sure as hell don't.
All this ticking
&
goddamned tocking
is driving me bonkers.
Insomnia at its finest.
The sun is lighting a match
setting the sky ablaze
Oh, great,
another day
or
night?
$pent awake
Author notes
I wrote this very early this morning, actually the sun was coming up. Insomnia blows nasty balls.

Interesting, I think the spacing worked to your advantage in this case (I usually don't like funky indentations and whatnot). I don't have problems with insomnia so while I can't personally relate I do understand it and I'm sure it sucks
Thank you for entering!

Be so thankful you don't suffer from insomnia. I didn't fall asleep til 9 this morning and I woke up at noon. :/

insomnia is the plague of the thinker and dreamer.
as always your word art only adds to the poem
good portrayal of frustration.
