Sleep, my love, in the white linen embrace
Of the dark cushioned bed, covered in lace.
The red smile adorning your pale face
Reminds all what happens when you fall out of grace.
So dance with me sweet
Dance with me love
And listen to my softly sung lullaby
As we twist around hell
And sweat through the flames
And learn what eternity means.

This freaks me out, very well done. I love the twisty feeling with a tune along, gives me shivres. Good luck in the contests!

now that is a dark and twisted poem with a lullaby feel to it. Best of luck with this eerie tale you have spun.

I had a friend write about how lullabies seem more unpleasant in their wording even though sounding peaceful to the ear in harmony. It almost rivals the meaning here knowing the words may be dark, but can rest on the music alone. I think I will stick with "Twinkle, twinkle Little Star" if I'm to have any more children! I want to thank you for your entry into the following contest: "To Be Put On My Favorites List."

PS: Your entry has been blessed by the three wise clappers, but don't spend the whole nine points in one place(lol)!

Thanks for the effort, I appreciate it.

I am so glad this isn't really about clowns. I was kind of weary about clicking it when I saw that.
It's absolutely gorgeous though. There is so much said in so few of words. -
omg this awsome, i love the flow, and as i read each line it swirls me, draws me into the lullaby, excellent peice of writting!!

LOVE AND SPIRT
You gotta love the mixture of the two. We exist to cease and god hates black shades and all of the players. Remnant of a vampires thoughts. -
that paints quite a dark picture. you know clowns can be really scary. you show a lot of imagination and creativity in this. a truly great job. my best to you in the contest.

Superb
This is beauty at it's best. You have captured spirit, love, and the universe all in a few sentences. I'm going to read somemore. Have a great holiday.
