Refraction

The water is a dismal gray, but the dagger on top of the lily pad, gleams red.

  • A dark piece you have penned. The imagery is excellent

    Good piece...

This is dark, but in tune with a body of water that does nor "reflect" anything.

  • Interesting play on thoughts here, the two colors mix well don't they gray and red. Where there is confusion in one there is fire and passion in the other.

Much lies beneath the surface that only the dagger could reminisce while lying patiently on the soft lily pad on gray waters.
