A Special World
A special world for you and me
A special bond one cannot see
It wraps us up in its cocoon
And holds us fiercely in its womb.
Its fingers spread like fine spun gold
Gently nestling us to the fold
Like silken thread it holds us fast
Bonds like this are meant to last.
And though at times a thread may break
A new one forms in its wake
To bind us closer and keep us strong
In a special world, where we belong.
What did you think

Nice rhythm and flow to your write. You’ve penned a lovely place where two people are known only to each other.
"Its fingers spread like fine spun gold
Gently nestling us to the fold
Like silken thread it holds us fast
Bonds like this are meant to last."

Wow. I think this is totally amazing. I like poems that rhyme and your rhyming is absolutely flawless. It sounds like you do live in a very special world. Great job!!!!

Nice
Have a look at line eight and ten, the rhythm's off there. Other than that it's a good poem, I like the fact that you actually try to stick to the meter, many poems I've read have no rhythm to them at all. (If I seem to notice things like that often, I'm really into music) :-)

Nice metering and word selection
I really like your meter. It strikes a nice balance in length and your word combinations stay on theme and convey a sweet message that feels like the metaphor you selected. Very nice work.
