Is there meaning in today?
In the way
the rain pours outside the window
of this room that won't let me go.
You force me to stay
in the prison of this day.
The meaning just won't show,
there's a crack in the window.
The air can escape
through that gape
through the window.
I hear that freedom flow
but today won't let me go.
You know
there's a meaning in today
in the way you make me stay
the way your eyes glow
when you release that blow
my head against the window
the blood covered gape
the me that can escape.
I hear that freedom flow,
the air through the window.
The meaning starts to show,
the rain pours outside the window.
The meaning of today
shows through in the way
I finally let you go.
