dreams that taste good

It twists and pulls me in every direction
like a virus it spreads and like a light switch it can be turned off.
Revulsions and cries from the past seep threw the cracks in the floor.
I can't keep just waiting to age.
Pull all the strings even the fragile ones
rip out, light on fire, cut in half.
Smoke my dreams in your blunt,
thats why it tastes so good....

bleed your pockets dry
but nothing but love makes sense.
I can't care about the world.
the world makes no sense.
run into the walls of my heart.
bite the poison apple.

I dream so big, but I feel so small.

Wow. A very deep and thought provoking poem here. I love the imagery, it is so vivid and your words paint pictures in my head. I love these lines...

Smoke my dreams in your blunt,
thats why it tastes so good...

Though I have to suggest you either make dreams dream or it they. Or else the lines are thrown off. Other than that, a beautifully written piece and a great expression of your thoughts. I absolutely loved the ending as well, it truly puts things in perspective. Now you just got to keep dreaming big but feel as big as you dream. I love how your poetry is a window to your soul and it is always crystal clear, never blurry. You have great talent. Keep up the amazing work.
