I, too, have had this song dedicated to me during some time in my life (it's such a wonderful song to dedicate to people, huh?), and I'm also greatly and emotionally attached to it. I understand your loss...I lost my first love to lung cancer after he told me how I was his angel (and I told him he was mine) so I do understand this all--and that will give you some points here.
All you need to do is re-format, and I'll say that you have a pretty good place in this contest. =] -

Thank you I'm glad that you liked the content....to me that is what really makes or breaks a poem although yes format is very important....I'm sorry to here about your loss it really makes mine seem well rather childish....and I'm sure it sounds it...but I can't help it...I did love him and I had planned on being with him forever even if it does sound illogical for my age...but I'm very grateful that he is still alive and well... for his sake but as far as my life goes he's gone I was told to forget he was alive...and the only thing that's kept it from totally killing me was that he wasn't the one to say it..and I'm pouring my heart out to a random person on the net this is really strange for me...lol...but I'm about to re format thank you again for your comment...good luck with your contest

everyone has gone thru this pain, but no ones pain is childish ok? look at me for ex. i lost my dad 2 cancer after almost 20+ years of never even noing if he cared about me. i have lost friends bc i was 2 drunk or stupid enough to stop them or b there 4 them. and i have lost my love as well...so i consider this my second chance, to make things rite and help people who hurt ok? dont ever feel like ur pain or loss is childish, cause its urs and u went thru so much 3 get here, it changed u. stay golden, stay safe, and ur always in the hearts of the people who care about u, and yes even from complete strangers like me. -

thanks...I guess you're right..it's just when I'm depressed I refuse to see the logic in a situation...and for the record...I got him back...
he's moving 30 miles away but he's mine again and I get what you mean by second chance thanks again... and as for complete strangers...lol. it's funny sometimes I think complete strangers know more about me than my best friends through my poetry and this site usually...lol....but hey...I love them and couldn't and wouldn't wanna live with out them...lol
