Mom and Dad I want you to know
I Love you very much, I didn’t want to go.
I know it’s not what we had planned
For God to extend his gentle hand
But I’m okay, so don’t worry about me
My spirit runs wild and I feel free
There’s just so much now I can see
So many places I now can be
So please don’t cry, I’ll be okay
Heaven’s not a bad place to stay.
So dry your eyes, cuz I’m alright
And in your dreams I’ll be every night
And when you wake I’ll be there too.
I never want to see you blue.
So Mom and Dad please promise me.
That every day you’ll be carefree.
And In your arms I’ll be again.
So please be happy until then.
